Return, Replacement & Refund Policy

Natural sheep, beef, and kettle casings are perishable food products subject to Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin. For bio-security, food safety, and veterinary traceability reasons, products that have departed our temperature-controlled custody or whose tamper-evident seals have been broken cannot be returned to stock or resold under any circumstances.

Commercial buyers must inspect incoming goods immediately upon delivery (§ 377 of the German Commercial Code - HGB). Examination must verify: barrel integrity, salt or brine clarity, casing temperature, and label calibration. Notice of any apparent defects must be communicated in writing within 48 hours of delivery.

Where a verified defect is acknowledged by our quality assurance desk, Darezini will, at its option, dispatch an equivalent replacement consignment free of freight charges or issue an immediate commercial credit note (Gutschrift) refundable via SEPA bank transfer or applicable to future purchase orders.

Because high-speed automatic stuffers (such as Handtmann, Vemag, or Frey) exhibit specific horn nozzle tolerances, commercial buyers are strongly encouraged to request calibrated trial hanks prior to volume orders. Calibration compliance within DIN tolerance (+/- 1 mm) is guaranteed.
